Default So, had some fun at work today...

I was washing a car and I heard my boss start yelling, I looked over and saw smoke so I grabbed the bucket full of soap and water next to me and ran around the corner. I saw this BMW with flames shooting up the windshield. The hood was already popped for some reason but the hood opened backwards where the flames were. I poured a little water on the hood so they could open it and then dumped the rest as they opening the hood and wrestling the fire extinguisher over there. I ran back to re-fill the bucket but by the time I made it back the fire was out. They said they couldn't get the pin out on the extinguisher and it took two guys to carry it over there but I killed the flames down long enough for them to get to it. Luckily the car died as I was pouring the water otherwise the fuel pump would have kept shooting gas out.

It looks like the fuel rail or injector was leaking on the passenger side. The car was only running for a few minutes.

So yeah that's the highlight of my day. I have pictures and I will put them up later. I washed the car to get all the chemicals off and all it did was bubble the hood up and melt the wiring.
