All,
I've seen a few threads related to car insurance on here at pro touring, so I thought I would post this week's podcast show. It covers my least favorite (but very necessary) topic of insurance.
I interviewed Hagerty Insurance and was pleasantly surprised at how honest they were. They did admit that there is a time an place for "regular" car insurance vs. a Hagerty style agreed value policy. I tried to press him on covering our cars while we're on the track, and he simply pointed out that while there are ways to purchase insurance that covers race cars during the actual act of racing, most of the time you're on your own.
By the way, the guy I interviewed (Jonathan Klinger) has a Model A as his daily driver!
