Default Passenger Side Banjo Bolt Leak (( 10-27 -22 ))

It looks like I figured it out and apparently the line is hitting the caliper before the banjo bolt can be tighten down all the way.

Here is a picture of the Drivers Side and it doesn't leak.

Here is the Passenger side and you can see it is resting on the caliper body.

Once again this line is coming off and being bagged.

Back to my Grandfathers vise.

2nd Attempt as the 1st one was not successful.

Looks like it's going to work.

Line is back on and I will try to bleed the brakes again tomorrow.

Nice work. I've had this happen before too. Fixed it in the same manner as well.

I’m glad you got it figured out, Marty. Hopefully that will be the fix.

Those little Gremlins are the always the ones to set you back.

Let's not also forget that we spend time looking at other builds and seeing something cooler that you just have to do.

and I have my fingers crossed.

Marty,
What do you are for calipers? That size rotors? I didn’t see anything about them.

Thanks,
Jimbo

The brakes are from Tobin at Kore3. It’s a c5 / c6 kit with the DSE Corvette Reduced angle brake booster. It like having modern factory brakes on an old car. One of the other benefits is if I break down on the side of the road, I can go to Napa or AutoZone or any other local auto parts stores. I’ll be back on the road.

Sorry, I just added pictures

It looks good to go as far as room.

It always scares me when I bend a line. My brain tells me I shouldn't do it as it could fail. However, I just barely moved it.

Marty,
Thank you for the response with pics. Have you driven the car with the OEM brakes vs. the C5/6 brakes? If so, what are your thoughts of this modification?

I’ve been eyeballing Kore3 brakes for a while Thanks again

Hi Jimbo,

I did not drive my car with the original brakes as my car was only a roller when I purchased it. However, I have driven my buddy's late 2nd Gen with factory Disk/Drum set up and I was amazed at the difference. My car actually stops just like a new car. His car felt like I was driving an old car with crappy brakes.

You can't go wrong with the Kore3 stuff just make sure you buy the DSE Brake Booster set up and you will have tons of fun accelerating into a corners with ample braking prior to the corner.
