Thanks.

We used the Holley mounts. It is in the “stockish” location. Not as far back as some of the other cars. A little farther forward to make it easier for wiring and bellhousing bolts.

Because I know the car will see track use we added a simple roll hoop. It is for a shoulder belt system for street use and a cross bar for 6 point belts for track use.

More photos to come soon.

So you are going to run 2 different belt systems based on use... Will both be installed at the same time OR do you plan to change over from street to track when needed?

Mark, Do you have a picture of how you mount the Recaro seat tracks?

That is the plan to have a street 3 point belt set up and a 6 point for the track. We have not designed it yet.

If it is a hassle I’ll go back to what I have always used. A 6 point set up and just wear the lap belt on the street.

I'm interested in seeing what you come up with. I've had my 69 for over 34 years and 32 were driving on the street with stock belts. Started to autocross 2 years ago and stock belts aren't enough. I still spend a lot of time on the street driving to local cruise-ins.

Have you tried the Morris Classic 3 point belts? I have it. A very nice upgrade to the stock lap belts.

I have them in my car too! LOVE the 3 point belts and have them mounted in the stock locations.

For Hobb's Camaro it should be fairly easy to mount the reel to the floor and shoulder belt mount to top corner of the roll bar.
