Default 71 camaro

Hi, ive been a member for a while but never really posted. I picked up 71 camaro rs as a project may'be less then a year ago now. Its been a little tough making progress going to school full time with a 19 and now 20 year old budget. haha But I love it. It has a L-78, 4 speed, and 8.5 in. 10 bolt. It has a dual carb offenhauser that came with it, some of these things are not ideal for what i want but they'll be fine for now. Plans include a hotchkis suspension and hopefully big bear brakes all the way around... here are some old pics from when i first got it but i will post some updated ones later...

Thanks guys for your comments. Yeah its a pretty solid car, i got pretty lucky. This is basically what the car looks like now more or less, i had the car wired up just trying to fire the engine since it was rebuilt by the previous owner who never got the chance to refire it. The previous owner ended up passing away, and thats how I ended up buying the car. I decided i wanted to start on some body work so i eneded up taking much of the car apart again and thats pretty much what you see now...

Default little update

I have a little update... it''s been a while since I last posted an update. I have to practically stop working on the car because I was in season. I play football in college and between that and full time school, it pretty much took all my time. But recently I was able to get back on it and im excited. I have the engine rewired and am waiting on a steering column to fire. I also have almost the whole car stripped and most of it primed. It takes a while to strip a car all by hand... Ive completed some of the metal and body work. I painted the firewall, subframe, and half of the bottom of the car. I've got a long way to go, but I'm excited... I don't really do a great job at taking pictures, I dont know how some people do it, I just get carried away in my work haha

Its coming along nicely. What do you plan on filling up that third stall with once this Camaro is done?
