My Dad did that when I was 16 and we went to a church parking lot in the snow. He wanted to show me how the car would react in it. Granted, it was in a truck and not a sweet Corvette, but it was cool do it with the old man!

I wish someone would let me beat on their Corvette like that.

That was good clean fun (besides getting rubber off of the car) IMHO.
