West Coast (LA) RTTHs **April 2, 3, 4**
I posted this on PT also, just trying to see how many would be interested in being involved in an event similar to what we do in Pigeon Forge, except this one would be on the West Coast.
OK, everyone has asked for one. After my trip out I think we have found a location to have one hell of an event.
Now is the time to step up and commit to being there if we can pull it off. No money needed but I do need to know if we are talking 10 guys or 100 cars. I am thinking sometime in late summer, probably August. If you can be there, participating to some degree, chime in to this thread. Please, chime in only if you can come, I don't need to hear that you would be there if you had a battery or something. We will have spectator areas too so all that is good, but I need a head count on who could come and spend $75 or $100 to make an event happen out here.

Yea, we're going to see if we can make this happen. My management at the magazine seemed up to the idea.
El Toro would be a great spot. I picture a smaller "tight" autocross combined with a larger "fast" autocross. I've seen cars hit 90 mph at autocrosses there since there's so much room.
Here's an example of a 2.2 MILE autocross they do there... yea, 2.2 FREAKING MILES! lol
Maybe that will hush up the "35mph in a Walmart parking lot" crowd..

I'm in.
El Toro is a great spot! It's big enough that last year when we took the Evolution school there were actually 3 different autocrosses set up and running at the same time. I'm sure it could be designed with a big course, a small course, and a very comfortable paddock.

El Toro would be great. As long as we are not on the road, count us in.
