Default Brake Hose Brackets

I am installing new braided lines on the front of my 68 Camaro. The car had original 4 piston discs but I am converted to the later GM single piston calipers from the 70s.

My question is, the new braided lines don't have the hex that fits in the original bracket. This lets the hose spin in the bracket. Is this normal or do I need to make sure the fitting fits the bracket to prevent it from turning?

The older cars and trucks I have worked on were the same as you are seeing. Just make sure the u shaped clip holds it tight to the bracket and use 2 wrenches to tighten the lines. It will be fine.
