Default Dbw ?

I just got my 6.0L running it is out of a 2003 escalade. I had the computer/wiring harness reworked by Speartech. My DBW does not work. Is there anything special that needs to be done to get the computer acknowledge the DBW? It is all from the same car and everything was sent out with my computer/wiring. I haven't got in touch with speartech yet, just thought I'd try and get some info before bugging John again.

Your tac box is intact? Should be separate computer box usually mounted near brake master.

Do you have ability to get live data or pull codes?

I don't have the ability to pull live data or pull codes at this time. I'm actually looking into getting something for that. I also don't have a tach box? I do have a wire labeled for tach, but I thought that that was for an aftermarket tach?

Speartech is on vacation until Dec.6th, so can't call John until then.

I was hoping for something simple, when I changed my TPS on my dodge truck, I had to to do some special procedure for my computer to reconize the signal. I think it was something like turn the key hold the throttle down for so many seconds then let off and it worked.

I'm so close to driving this thing it's killing me!!!! 500+hp in a 69 bird!

Oh man do I feel dumb. I do have the tac box hooked up I thought you meant the other type of tach for RPM's. Yep, it is all hooked up checked all the plugs. Just seems like it has no signal.
When I turn the key on you can here the throttle body move, so it seems like that is functioning.

My tac box is for a stock throttle body, I got a ls2 throttle body. I have to get a tac box for a ls2.
