Yuge pics!

Is there some way to make posted pictures resized for the screen when they load? I've noticed this more since the server change over. I thought previously they always did for the most part. There are some threads where the pictures are so large I can't see the picture in a decent manner. It's basically a very zoomed in view. Is there something I can do on my end with my setting or computer or is this a site thing?
