I wish we had a decent local (within 100 miles) autocross. This is the typical local event that happens once a year and I just can't get excited about wading through a sea of cones set up in box that's way too small.
Awesome job this weekend gents! It was great racing with you guys and the car looked great
Thanks...same to everyone in your group. What a fun event!!
Sieg, this course was a BLAST to drive on, could really let it all hang out. Not sure if it's made the papers yet but a young fella named Cody Mason climbed in Kyle Tucker's Camaro for the first time Saturday morning and smoked the field (including Kyle himself) in it in Saturday's two sessions. It was a blast to watch!!

I don't think the drivers of these 4 cars could have had any more fun that we did this weekend... #CAMEASTGFORCE
Only other video I have cut up and posted so far is one of my fantastic finish on my first run... No cones were harmed during the making of this video.

I saw Cody and Kyle's results on Detroit Speed's Instagram and Facebook posts.......pretty impressive!
That course looked like the perfect autoX/road race blend. Awkward best describes the local clubs courses. Should I just give in a get a Miata and shut up and drive?
Here is my first run Sunday morning, which was also my best run of the weekend even with lifting the inside rear tire and spinning it many times during the run. We tuned in too much rear shock rebound in the slick on Saturday and didn't realize that's what was hurting us in the extra grip the cool weather Sunday morning gave us.
Still beat my best Saturday time by 3/10s.
One of the G-Force guys there wrote this recap of the weekend, don't think I can say it any better.
Want to see what 6 tenths looks like on a long autocross course?
Video is of our fastest runs on Saturday, I'm in the top frame, Ryan is in the bottom frame. This was both of our 5th runs on Saturday, which were both of our fastest runs in raw time (Ryan had a cone on this one but had one other run very similar). Looks like I was ahead going into the prison turn (long 180 at far end), lost most of my time exiting that turn.
Can't wait to watch it on the 50" HD tv tonight.
This was also basically the difference between 16th place and 27th place out of 64 cars.

Thanks for posting the videos Lance. I enjoy watching these videos and seeing what I can learn. Amazing the little bit of difference between those placements!
