Had a blast, weather was perfect...car gremlins were solved...car drove great...driver hit a lot of cones.
Ended up 2nd in class again with a run over a second slower than my fastest run, but it was clean. Driver is aggressively trying to get tighter on cones, sometimes you go over when you do that. Plus the car turning in so much better is taking some time to get used to as well. This was my fastest run a 48.495 +1, ended up standing on run 5 a 49.696 clean.
Fun course, hopefully a good tuneup for SCCA Nationals in a couple of weeks.
If you watch the video, pay attention to how sharp and quick the car turns into turns and you very rarely ever even hear the front tires chirp. Watch it in the slalom as well...so balanced, so neutral, and so easy to drive.
To say I'm happy with the setup now would be a huge understatement. Now I just need to learn how to drive it even faster. Car is WAY better than the driver once again.

I was looking at the entry list today and saw your name on there Tom, can't wait to meet you in person. That's the best part about big events like the solo nats...meeting all of the great people involved.
Our Region has just about all of row 14 reserved in the paddock, I'll be there starting Friday 09/4 thru Wed the 9th. Stop by and introduce yourself if I don't find you first.
