Default For Sale Section….

What happened to the cars for sell section here? It completely died a while back and never seems to get new posts. Why? TIA.

Traffic on the site is not bad at all, but I would love to see more postings for sure. A lot of the car and parts ads have moved to social media. Forums are still best for an actual searchable database for those who need to find an answer immediately.

Yeah it’s strange. Just not that long ago there was a new car for sale every couple days. Now it will go weeks without a new posting. Seemed to happen all at once.

They do seem to have more classified traffic, but not sure on overall traffic. I've seen several identical posts there and on here, and in most cases it seems like we get more views and activity. But in the classifieds they do better.

Larry has a great site over there, no doubt.

I personally blame the entire photobucket thing a few years ago, i have almost stopped posting anything with pictures just because of the added hassle and havnt taken the time to learn anything new

I think both sites are great, been on both since 2006. There was a time when the classifieds were on fire and you better make a decision quick or you were left out. Really can't explain the post reductions other than social media for which I don't use. I hear facebook marketplace is turning into the old craigslist anyway.

It sure is. I don’t Facebook personally, but I have friends that buy ALL of their cars to flip on there and they find crazy deals…

I've noticed the trend as well, and cant help to think that BAT and Facebook have a lot to do with this. Guys that build on this site would typically advertise here when done but outside this community don't see a lot. Pro-Touring.com seems to get more action ...

Cheers
Steve
