Default I am asking a huge favor of all Lateral-G members for my twelve year old son...

I am just finishing up our new house and have a favor to ask of everyone. I have two kids, my wife and I wanted to do something different to finish off their bedrooms. My wife gets to handle my daughter's and I of course get to do my son's room.

This will be a surprise for him..... I have been thinking about covering his bedroom ceiling with license plates. He loves cars and he has bought several plates at the swap meets with his own money. I was wondering how to get plates from all over and my wife said put a post on Lateral-G.....so here I am!

I think it would be kick-ass to have plates from all over...vanity type plates would be cool but anything would work. SO....if you have any plates kicking around, I would be very grateful if you would drop'em in the mail. I would be happy to pay you for postage!

Little background on my son: He is twelve and will outwork most adults I know. Given the choice of putting his tool-belt on or playing video games, he will pick the tool-belt EVERYTIME. I have video of him when he was 6'ish running my excavator. He is a really good kid and he is a straight A student, AND is in advanced math to boot!

Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to send a plate to me!

I'm at:

Bryan Begin
PO Box 422
Strafford NH 03884

dropping some in the UPS today. They were sitting on my bookcase in my office from a Van I sold about 3 months ago. A little ragged, (Ohio weather!) but it beats putting them in the trash!

You want any or all of these three?

The top one is sorta famous, came off this car; the one I have is the original black version:

The next plate was the original plates off an 8000 original mile Maverick I had. The bottom one is a mint new personalized plate, came with a 71 Vega I bought from a friend (H body).
