Question rear gear selection

hey quick question:

how much gear should I be running with a T-56 and a 27" tall tire?

I was thinking 3:90 but i will be on the freeway alot- should i be more conservative- any thoughts???-Chris

Assuming your tire is really 27" tall, a 2.66 first gear and a 0.50 6th gear, 3.90's will give you about 1450 RPM @ 60 mph, about 1,700 rpm @ 70 mph and 2,000 rpm will give you 82.4 mph.
