Just thought I'd go out to the crowd thats been doing this for a long time and ask for some do's and don't of running an autocross event.
Autocross events for our cars are kinda non -existent in Australia, but over the last 4 years we've put on 5 events in Perth, with a dedicated core group of people.
We've put a few lessons learnt together and would like some feedback from the group here.
We know that:
- The course should be flowing and not too tight.
- Cones have to be clear and track marked wherever possible.
- Timing gear has to be reliable and consistent.
What else is essential to a good course and day out?
