Default Make your own hose clamps.

I have been using a ClampTite tool to make hose clamps for a few years now and I got to wondering if anyone has heard of this tool. Handy tool to keep around.

I saw that video a few months ago and thought it was a cool idea. I've never used the system or known anyone who has.

So, you've not had any issues with the "wire" wanting to cut into the hose?

I have one of these. It works excellent for tying on header wrap . Haven't used it for hose clamps as of yet.

I've used it on my race car in a couple of areas that are highly visible and are not removed very often. In other areas I use conventional hose clamps so I can quickly remove a hose.

I have couple of those, bought 4 years ago at Chicago Auto-Rama.

Cool tool. One of best place is for the fitting at air hose. Better that hose clamp.

Seems that the low surface area of the wire could have a tendency to cut through the hose???
