me and parson wher ein the on ramp to the track, we dove to the left and watched i guess it was you get soaked!!!!!!!!! man what a rush....

Oh man...yeah, I knew there were guys sitting on the wall. I at least had the concrete and fence between me the car. But that wall of water still hit like a roundhouse kick. Up my nose and under my eyelids even.
I saw a picture posted somewhere that you or John must have snapped as you were diving out of the way...it was the nose of the nova just touching the barrels...that some good photography!!

Rubes - I'm sure that water was fresh! Just filled up that morning no doubt!

That whole moment was surreal. I was at the other end of the track - my heart just about stopped. I was just happy to see that Billy made it out without even the slightest scratch - Good Safety Equipment.

Hell - cars can be fixed! I'm sure the Nova will be back, better than in it's previous life!
