Default Need help: Hydraulic clutch master

I have been learning and building my 69 Camaro with the assistance of Lat G for over 6 years now. All of your contributions and posts have been much appreciated. Sorry that I haven’t contributed myself. I find myself in a situation that I cannot answer quickly and could use the assistance of Lat G members The build is of course a 69 Camaro with a LS1 backed by a TKO600. In the middle I have a Mcleod hydraulic slave cylinder. I have been trying to use Mcleod's master kit for over a year and a half but continue to have seal failures on the back side of the piston. The original shop that I had install it actually did perform geometry measurements and welded a tab on the clutch peddle much like many others do. Several months later and probably 10 miles of neighborhood tuning the clutch master failed. Last summer I spoke with Mcleod about this and they had a complete kit that would answer all my needs. Got it in the fall, Installed it, and it to failed about a month after install. Found out at SEMA from Mcleod that they knew of the problem in geometry and setup and had a revised kit in engineering. Received the third kit in February, installed it and all looked great! The peddle rod appeared to be entering the master perfectly. I have taken the car to a close friend that owns a great shop locally to perform fine tuning items, specifically bleed clutch and obtain better release of the clutch. I have ran out of time to perform some jobs now that I have two children since the start of the build. We found that I may have needed some shims behind the slave. The shop pulled trans and installed shims last week. Reinstalled today, went to bleed the system and the master blew again. Spoke to Mcleod and they are baffled, Lee has been great and for that I think highly of Mcleod. At this point though I really need simplicity and reliability.
That is where I can use some assistance. Today I decided to go with a stock 02 Camaro master cylinder much like Stielow and other use. Mark are you there? I purchased one today and took it along my original DSE firewall bracket to the shop to install. Problem is the male quick disconnect fitting on the OEM master. I still have the Mcleod slave and braided line with what I believe to be a -3 fitting. Does anybody know a way to connect my existing line to the OEM master? An adapter fitting? A source for that male quick disconnect? I don't what to have to have them pull the trans and change to a OEM slave if I don't have to. But I will if I need to. Will this pairing will work together?

Additionally, I can either use the engineered bracket that Mcleod created or weld another tab back on to the peddle arm. Does anybody have any additional details or specs that may be of assistance in connecting master rod to the clutch peddle?

Thanks in advance for help. I promise I will work on posting more..

Mark

Im not familiar with the McLeod set up. What brand master cylinder do they use.

Reason why I ask is I was using a generic brand (similar to Tilton) and I we having seal issues, I assumed I wasn't aligned right so I modified the geometry, same deal.
I started running the Wilwood masters and have not had an issue so far. 2 years on the test car.

Can you post a picture of your pedal and bracket your friend welded on please?
