I have been twice as a spectator, 2004 and 2013. Finally this year I am going as bringing my car to show! So excited to go and be a part of it.

My set up time is Wednesday at 1pm. Leave CT on Tuesday morning. Going to be a week long trip all in, but worth it to me.

BOSS 5.0,

Love your car!
We need to meet and greet.

My "load in" time is 7pm on Wednesday, Feb 27th.

What are you doing for the mandatory floor covering and barrier?

We absolutely need to meet up. Is this your first ISCA show? Any idea what class you will be in? Last year at the Boston ISCA show I was classified as Semi Hardtop in the Custom class.

I am lucky to have a friend/coworker that lives just outside of Detroit letting me use his 20x20 display shown in the attached pic. I won't be putting my car up on the stands though, I like it sitting down on the ground showing the stance. I have a decent 10x20 display, but when offered the 20x20 I jumped at it!!

OMG.
I just finished TIG welding my stainless chain stands.
You are out of my league.
My first ISCA show ever.
I've been to Detroit Autorama as a spectator before only once.
I do not know my class.
Please offer any advice you can..,

Stunning Camaro!! Would be funny if we ended up in the same class!

Attached is a picture of my own 10x20 display that I made. I like it, but like I said, when offered the 20x20 I jumped at it.

I have only ever done one ISCA show, Boston last March. It was eye opening as to what they expect and look for. The biggest thing with the judges, is make sure it is clean, clean, clean. They know and look for all the details and small stuff. Even the underside, get it as clean as you can. It could make the difference between winning the class and 3rd place. Do you have a nice sign? Also, if you are in a 10x20 display leave all the other stuff at home. Past trophies, paraphernalia etc. It makes it much harder for the judges to really look at the car and don't like it. A nice clean simple display is always better. And no matter what, DO NOT close up the car at night. The hood, trunk and at least one door needs to be open. If not then all zeros in those areas!

This is a bucket list show/event for me. What ever place I win I will treasure. Even a fourth place at Detroit is still a huge win. Just being there is huge.

Boss 5.0

Thank you. Your insights are quite helpful.
I do have a "sign" with a stand made from Swagelok leftover parts.
We will use stainless wheel stands.
No clutter.., I get it!
We definitely should meet and greet.
