Default '66 Mustang Convertible

The frame rails are finished and welded to the floor pans
The housing is narrowed and the Moser axles have arrived
The custom shock/lower control arm mounts turned out nice. A friend at Evansville sheetmetal cut them out with a water jet machine. Cool!
The torque arm is finished and tacked place
Now to the watts link and then to the front suspension.
The cars here are so nice you almost hate to post pics. Very high standard here

Thanks,
Brent

Love the look of the rails and toque arm, great to see more early stangs. Can't wait to see more progress pics, maybe it will help me get going on mine.

mainsy,

The project is coming along great. Just have not posted in a while.

Trunk floor and fuel cell are finished
rear wheel houses are finished (tough job on a vert. pics will explain)
motor and trans are in
headers are built
front suspension, radiator, rack etc. are done
pedals and Wilwood cylinder are in
Vintage Air unit is mounted and hidden

The fabrication should be finished in a couple of weeks then off to the exhaust shop. After that she should be ready for the paint shop.

Pics are updated here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2659961

Thanks,
Brent

Default She Is Back From Paint Jail

Well, after 8 months at the painter it is finished. Took a while to get the color right but they finally stuck it. The stripes are pearl and it looks really nice in the sunlight or at night with natural light. House of Kolor Tangelo Pearl over an orange base with pearl white stripes.
