Default Project ... 'TAKE-OVER'

Well Gents ... I'm back into the PT world
When a 'too good to be true' opportunity presents itself sometimes you just have to say F$#! it, and jump right in.

Back story ... My good buddy has been working on this car for the past 5 years, he's spent a TON of $$$ on it and a LOT of $$$ in parts. Body and paint is an absolute 10/10 (as you can see) but he's run out of steam and called me on Friday to see if I wanted to take this project over and I said "Hell yes !!". I went to see the car with my mechanic / builder yesterday and even he was shocked to see just how incredible this car is ....

So, overall objectives for this car;
Complete this car in the next 6-8 months
Possibly bring it to Detroit 2025 & Motorama Toronto
Then it will be SOLD

Build Hi-lites
Elite Show car quality build
Black on Red
LS3 / Edelbrock Cross Ram engine
DSE front and SpeedTech rear
Wilwoods front & Rear
LOTS of cool sh&!

Super excited for this journey

So lets get started with some pics ...

Can't wait to see this finished!

I'm extra excited to know what you think of the cross-ram intake. A few years ago I read (and watched) about that improving power (Edelbrock's site: "Dyno testing resulted with gains of 27 horsepower and 28 ft-lbs. of torque over a popular aftermarket manifold."). It's not "cheap" but it looks really cool and is almost guaranteed to be different than the other LS cars at the show.

No it's not cheap ... and the computer to run the dual throttle bodies is DEFINITELY NOT cheap .. don't even ask !! And Juggernaut you are spot on ... you do this to stand out from the rest, not for more power. I think simply this is going to look awesome

Cheers
Steve

Morning Ryan ... unfortunately the FJ55 is stuck in body/pain jail.
I'm hoping to get that moving along very soon

Oh, man. That's a gorgeous car. The wheels are a great choice. You have to keep those so long as the hoops fill out the wells properly.

I dig the cross ram intake, too. I would change the color though. Red isn't a bad choice. I think with the subtle strip and machined wheels, a more subtle color would be best for the engine though.

Best of luck on it, Steve. I know you'll make it great no matter what you choose.

Thanks Trey !
I am choosing to do a 'almost' full red interior ... thus the red pop in the engine bay. I want to open that hood and have the cross-ram make a statement, that's the jewel of the car.
Lets see how it comes out, if it too much its an easy paint fix

Question ... did you run the dual throttle bodies by wire or cable ?? If electronically which computer setup did you run ??

Cheers
Steve
