Default 67 camaro doors reproduction vs original

Im having trouble locating a good pair of original door shells for a 67 Camaro/Firebird so I was wondering how the reproduction door shells fit? What kind of modifications if any will need to be done to the doors to make them fit correctly. Also is to purchase?one manufacturer better than the other? Thanks in Advance....

They are not as bad as when they first came out. I have used them on a few cars and they required about 10 to 15 hrs to make them fit very good. For just a driver you could just install and go and they will be ok.

As for which ones to buy, there are only I think two places that stamp the metal over seas. That could have changed but a fees years ago that was the case. Some like the AMD stuff (I've never used it myself) some guys says it not any better then the other stuff out there.

If you have a LKQ/Keystone close to you they own Goodmark now and get you or will have what you want in stock, and better pricing then other places. Plus if it doesn't fit you can just take it back to them and exchange it for another set.

Yeah.. I order parts from LKQ/ Keystone almost everyday for our collision shop so I guess I will give them a try. At our shop we work on all late model stuff so Im out of the loop with the early Camaro stuff. Thanks for the info.. Any other feedback would be greatly appreciated.
