Default 65 Mustang Coupe

Hello all, my name is Alex and I have a 65 Mustang. I've owned it for 3-4 years now. It was originally a inline 6 three speed manual trans, though now it has a 302. I've been a member for awhile now, but just started working on the front suspension so I decided it was time to post. Im installing a Mustang II front suspension from Rod and Custom. I will also be installing a bunch of other stuff this winter, like an electric fan, subframe connectors, and anything else I can get around to doing. (I have a pretty lengthy list) Here is some pics of my car, along with the progress thus far on the suspension. Since Im in college I only get to work on the car during the weekends, but I should have it at least back on wheels by the end of next weekend. Thanks for looking guys, any comments welcome!

Hi Alex, I missed this thread when you started it. Cool to see a Mustang getting the treatment.

Keep us posted.

Looking good !
Especially on a "college kids" budget.
I was lucky to buy lug nuts back then.
Keep up the good work !

Thanks guys! Im hoping to get it all back together before the winter is up. The hardest part is just finding the time to work on it, since I can only get down there on weekends I have to make the most of them. Money is definately tight, though I have a decent job and not too many bills (rent, utilites and food are about it) so its do-able. Buying the cheap beer helps too

Frazee Minnesota, which is really close to Detroit Lakes. Its about 45 minutes southeast from Fargo/Moorhead down highway 10. Im guessing you get to Car Craft summer nats every year? Ive been down there the past couple years. Im also thinking about the Power Tour this year, since it ends in Wisconsin, wouldnt be too bad...

Hmmm, never heard of Frazee, I'll have to Google Earth it.

Yep, I'll be at Car Craft again this year. There's a very good chance that there will be a Lateral-g.net/Autokraft booth there. Power Tour is the goal for my car AND Jody's car. Right, Jody?

I wouldnt worry, your not missing much. Population of I believe 1300, people drive their lawn tractors around town. I think that sums it up pretty well (google "worlds largest turkey" thats what frazee is know for, haha)
