Default 3G Vette- The beginning-

So these pics date way back and figured you guys would like to see how the Corvette Project started. Re-sale red with lots of work to be done. The chassis was the first draft, which didn't make it to the final stages. We have a few thousand pics, but these are the first round. Really shows how the roll-hoop structure is attached to the chassis.

Those pics really put an exclamation point on how nice the final product is.

I'm sorry but it won't be going to Columbus. Ohio is a 70+ hour tow round-trip. I did the drive last year, and it's not something you look forward to doing every year!

LOL! That's ROUND TRIP - It is nearly 5000 miles to go from Tacoma to Columbus and back. Fuel/food/pee brakes really add up when you are on a trip that long. It's one of those character building experiences.....

And yes, it is worth it.

Ah come on! Put it on a transporter and then get on a plane!

I take it I can see it again at the Puyallup GG Show?

oh sorries i thought you meant the other Washington..not Tacoma ..that almost close enough to make you a Canadian!
How about instead of Columbus you bring it to Minniapolis at the "Back to the 50s show" in June..that way I only have to drive 7 hours to see it. And its twice the size show as Goodguys!! last year there was over 11,000 cars...and you can sell some of those fancy frames to all them old timers with there shoebox`s

If we were in the other Washington, we would probably take it back again.....

Here are a few more pics- firewall repair, smoothing out the dash and the completion of the roll hoop strucure.
