Default New to Lateral-G

Hey guys and gals! My name is Joel and have been browsing through this website for a few months now. I've been following several of the builds on this site. I currently drive a Neon SRT4 ( I know "half an engine" and "wrong wheel drive") that ran 12's on street tires before the engine build.(pics below) I also took it on a few auto-x events but with 349wtq is a handful to drive. Like I said before I'm rebuilding the engine after breaking every piston at the ring lands. I will be hopefully starting on a protouring project of my own soon. I'm excited sine my 9 year-old daughter wants to help me build it. Here are some pics of my engine build.

My loyal helper

A good friend of mine did the porting. He builds concept and new production vehicles for Bombadiier(sp?)

we didn't feel perfectly smooth walls and polishing were needed for a forced induction street application.

Balance shafts were removed and a windage tray, baffle and large diameter pick up tube were added. A treated oil pump as well.

This what you get with stock pistons and 21psi of boost.

Nothing better than having a little helper.

Welcome to the site.
