Default Thank you State Farm!

First of all for fixing Penny. We're in the last week of repairs and I should have her back this weekend. Then she goes to get some interior work. Total bill for the repairs is over $34,000.. yikes!

I wonder if the guy's companie's premium went up?

Oh, and thanks to State Farm for buying me a set of new seats.. this is where I spent my "settlement" money.

best seats out there and I've ran them in this fabric on my last two cars, might as well continue the tradition.

I would also like to say that State Farm was EXCELLENT to deal with. Once they understood the car they took care of me and "did the right thing". They never tried to screw me and the adjuster I talked with was always pleasent and very nice (ie, empathetic). They get a big gold star on this one!

I LOVE those seats! Mark has them in Camaro X and I was surprised how comfortable the were.

Good to hear that State Farm was good to you. Nothing worse than an insurance nightmare.

I'd love to have State Farm in MA or any of the others that are advertised here that we can't have because they're over-regulated to the point where they can't do business here. Mine fights me on everything, including replacement windshields from stone chips.

I've yet to hear one negative comment about State Farm, that's awesome Steve! I'm glad everything worked out.

34K I'd loved to see that estimate. You did great Steve. I deal with every insurance company out there and they are always cutting the repairs.

Good to hear Steve!! I've had SF my whole driving life (20 yrs.) and they have always been great. They were also the best priced for my street bikes. It wasn't untill the camaro came along that I had to go to Grundy,,,but the DD's and home are still with SF!!

Love the seats and can't wait to see her at the show!!

good to hear that they took care of you. The one accident I was in that involved insurance was a night mare. spent 2 weeks fighting over who's fault it was. I mean, an 85 year old woman passed out and crossed the stripe. pretty cut and dry. In the end they footed the bill for the rental and my truck..

On a side note, Steve, Is there any way I could get you to measure those seats for me? I'm trying to make some 1/12th scale replica's of some similar seats.

Well, If I was really lucky I wouldn't have been hit and lost 5-6 months of the best driving time with my car.

But I guess it worked out as good as it could have.

Sure deal.. but I'm pretty sure there are engineering diagrams of the seats (with measurements) on Recaro's website. If you don't find them shoot me a PM
