Default Lincoln V12 or cadillac V16 - where to find ?

Hello! Friend of mine is looking for a project engine for hes 30s hot rod. Hes intrested of lincoln V12 or cadillac V16 ,yes wierd engine and i am sure not in our intrest. But if somebody has ideas where to ask.

GM only had 3 of the V16's made. One was a dyno Mule, one in the concept Cadillac, and the other was put in a Chevy Tahoe of all things. The Tahoe is UGLY. It has a nasty looking lengthened front end. lol

Try posting at the Hokey Ass Message Board (HAMB) on the Jalopy Journal site (www.jalopyjournal.com).

Make sure you do an intro first after you register. Then, ask away. There's more vintage engine knowledge and connections on that board than anywhere else I've seen.

PS- Did you know there were aftermarket aluminum heads made for the V-12 Lincoln way back in the day? It's true...I recently saw a pair at the Carlisle Swaps. Wild stuff...

be easier to find a gmc v12 it was 2 of there big v6s made in to a v12 http://www.6066gmcguy.org/V6powered.htm
