Default Newbie intro...Chevelle owner

Hello all,

Smokey here from WI...I have a 1967 Chevelle that is 85% done (driveable) and have some other choice parts to throw on it. I am doing the vintage NASCAR vibe...I really dig that, and it seems to fit well with my Chevelle.

Mods on the Chevelle:
Global West A-arms and brake kit in front
SSBC disc brakes in back
Big swaybars
QA1 shocks all around
cross-braced frame
Muncie 4 speed
black steelies (of course)

I am hoping to get my Chevelle 100% good by spring to be able to autocross it this coming summer. I have read about the site from PHR magazine and wanted to join up. I will get pics up ASAP.

Great site!

My buddy is toying with the idea of a nsacar inspired new Charger. I think that look is so sweet and if you make your car look like those pics, well that will just be amazing.

Welcome .. it'll be great to see the NASCAR vibe. I have a 69 Mailibu back in South Dakota in a Barn that I'd like to take in the same direction. Get on to photobucket or another hosting sites and get the pictures comming. This crowd loves pictures .. a picture of a tire or carb is enough to make us happy.
