Default Project Keylime Twist

I posted a project (Il Vagabondo) a while back and I thought I'd share some images of a second project that I'm really excited about as well,,,,,,Project "Keylime Twist" is a 1970 Formula 400 Firebird Pro-Touring build. We just painted the car tonight and look forward to assembling it for spring 09 all things equal....

The car will feature:

- One off custom made 17" stylized rims that are an interpretation of an updated Pontiac 1971 honeycomb rim (see attached edited image,,,sorry self taught newbie in photo shop).

-A modified 400 Stroker Pontiac motor

-TKO 600 5 speed

-Wildwood brakes

-QA 1 coilovers

-modified suspension components

-Custom white & Black tuxedo deluxe interior

It is nice to see some different colors. I love those year Firebirds and I love the green.

Cool project, keep us updated.

Thanks gang,,,,,I'm really pumped about the car and look forward to posting it's progress when I return in the middle of next month to get back at it....

The Green is a stock 70 Firebird color Keylime green,,, just has a little better body prep & clear than factory paint LOL.... all the fenders and nose will need to be aligned again and the paint will receive an aggressive cut and polish after it cures....

I'd like to attempt to have both this project, and my other project (72RS) ready for the spring .....I'd like to do some touring this summer if possible (have a father with relatively advanced Alzheimer).....That considered I've bought a 48' 5th wheel trailer to send the cars to events ahead of me with a friend/s and will fly if necessary.

That's one of the ugliest colors I've ever seen!!

Just kidding. Obviously I like the color too. I wonder if our colors are the same? Mine is 71 Olds lime green paint code 43. Yours looks pretty close.
