Is it just me or did it look like it was on fast forward. That car was hauling the mail! Really impressed!

The new 2009 Cadillac CTS-V is using the same engine (LS9) as the new Corvette ZR1, detuned to 550HP. Shouldn't be too far behind!

I wonder when that 650 monster will sale as an crate engine? And how much power there could be after minor "bolt on"

You can believe that the 650 figure they're putting on it is not even close to "tuned". I have a source at Eaton (where the supercharger was designed) that claims a 900 hp pull on 93 octane. Of course, GM will never release that, but it's there. Give it some time until someone can really figure out the computer and how to tune it, and then IT'S ON! You won't need bolt-ons.
