Default Kooks swap headers for 1gen

Look what i found. Kooks stainless LSx swap headers for 1 gens

http://www.kookscustomheaders.com/show.php?pid=868

I really like the left side headers desing. But right looks really tight between 2-4 cylinders

But how about these Pontiac G8 GT headers ?

These look much better , but could they clear subframe ??

Thumbs up

Can't go wrong with KOOKS headers. They make killer headers for the LSx engines.
As far as clearance, I would call them and I'm sure they will give you a good/honest answer. they have a reputable business. GOOD LUCK!!!
Those G8 headers look great don't they???

Very popular with the LSx crowd.

Scott has em on his LS7 '69 in Camaro Performers, Nov issue.

My Kooks headers are 4th Gen F-body LS7 swap headers. It took a lot of cutting, sectioning and moving to make them work. Nothing like putting a brand new set of stainless steel headers in the band saw.

Thats scary, It would be interesting to see if the G8 ones fit, I hope the new Kooks wouldn't need to meet the band saw! but the LS7 has different port design,
