Default Friendly reminder about fire safety

Looking at this thread today took me back to not such a pleasant day when I had to put out an air cleaner fire on my car. Luckily I had an extinguisher and just made a mess out of my engine compartment. I'd hate to see anyone here have this happen to them. For those of you using the K+N style top mesh style air cleaners, a small carb fire could turn into a blaze quickly. Do yourself a favor and get an extinguisher before you drive your car again.

And we just took on Safecraft. What great timing. For under $500 we can do some nice firewall and engine compartment coverage

Safecraft stuff rules... the hand held units are like art work, very nice. Hopefully never have to use it or the installed system.

Installed system going in the trunk.

I'm glad I plan to run EFI with one of those K&N filters on top. I'll have a hand held fire exstinguisher too of course.
