Default mini tub upper shock location help

I am about to weld in my upper shock mounts in my 69 camaro that I have mini tubbed.Where should they be and what angle should the shocks be? Also does the shock mount with the large barrel up or down?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Steve, did you install a DSE upper x-member? It's OK to install the shocks at an angle...but don't go more than 20*.

Anthony I did install the DSE upper shock brace so I just called them and they told me not to go more that 5degrees of an angle.

I installed my shocks straight up - no angle.
