Default Hobart Handler 140 opinions

I was thinking of picking one of these up. I found a good deal at TS ( $449.00) . I'm comparing this unit to the Millermatic 140 w/autoset for about $200 more and was wondering if the autoset feature is something I truly need for doing body/frame/suspension type work. Any other diffs would be great....experience w/either/both cool too. I believe Hobart to be a high quality unit.......just for comparison sake, Summit has a complete Clarke package......140amp unit+cart+gloves+helmet for $419.00...opinions on that would be great as well

Autoset is a nice feature for guys that don't weld often and can't figure out the settings... Stick with a brand name - I think Hobart is actually owned by Miller now... I could be wrong but think I saw this somewhere.

Bag the Clarke.... They sell on PRICE PRICE PRICE... and a decent welder is something you'll use for YEARS... it's an INVESTMENT in your hobby.

Hobart is owned now by Miller. Some of the welders are still made in Hobart plant and some are now made in Miller plant. Not sure what models though.

Default Ts ????

Mind if I ask where is TS? That seems like a good deal I might like to follow-up on.

Thanks

Sorry............it's Tractor Supply. I just went to the local welding supply and got a hands-on look at the Miller. Man! it's NICE!! but about $200 more than the Hobart.
