Default My Baldwin-Motion pictures

Love it or hate it, it's getting a lot of attention.

I'm not big on the dash or high positive offset wheels, but the rest is wicked.

I am a fan of it! I guess most people dont like the rearend, but I thought it was cool. Its just somewhat simple, but really innovative.

Thanks for the pics!

This is great evolution of the Pro Touring concept. This car is innovative and good looking.

It looks like Pro Touring will become the next big time hot rodding genre.

Not sure how I feel about it . . .

I think in many ways when we try to "push the envelope" to catch the eyes, sometime a design goes too far for some folks taste. While there is a lot to like on the car, I think it went too far for me.

Things I like about the car:

1. Red! Though a little more contrasting color in the interior would be nice too.
2. Motor looks killer.
3. Single stripes are growing on me.
4. Hood looks neat, both in design and the way it opens.
5. Lines on the fender flares look good.
6. Stance looks good, though the tiny amount of rubber on the road my style.

Anyway, that is my 2 cents. Overall it is a great looking machine, but for me, it "just missed it."

Here's a short video of the hood opening. Nothing crazy, but who doesn't love multimedia on the internet?

Not too sure about the rear wheels or the dash, maybe it's being different for the sake of it, the marquez interior woulda suited it better. I thought that L88 scoops went out in the '80's lol.I think it may have looked better with the white stripes down the side like Kris' rendering, but I guess I'm just being picky, well cool car by the looks of it though.

Does anyone know what colour that is, is it hugger orange or is it more red in real life??

Nigel, they call it Motion Red, but it's VERY close to Ferrari red. I'd love to have the color on my 69.

As for the side stripes, they said that with such wide flares, the stripe looked like it wasn't straight. No matter how they laid it out, it looked curved. Made sense when looking at the rear quarters.

As for the hood, it's all steel.

The "original" Baldwin Motion '69 Camaros had the L88 hood, but I really think they should have kept the original paint scheme too.

Can you believe that^ is the best picture google could find me of a Baldwin Motion Camaro???

Thumbs up Pushing the envelope

Thanks for the pictures Scott. I like it - the car is radical to say the least. I believe when ever that word comes up to describe a car there is always going to be mixed feelings. From the price tag to all the fabrication there is plenty of room for opinions - both positive and negative. By the way does anybody know what sizes the wheels and tires are?
