Do you have to make the car right hand drive?

I was told if you did not do this, you have to put a decal on the car that says( left hand drive) on the windsheild and only drive the car 5 km from home?

No you don't have to make the car RHD Tom, aslong as the car is 30 years old, you can street register them LHD and drive them as much as you like. And as for the LEFT HAND DRIVE sticker, that is optional, why you'd opt to put it on your car I don't know. I imported my 66 Fastback from Austin, Texas, and registered it LHD in NSW no problems at all.

Cheers,
Joe.

Yup as per what Joe said, the laws are actually pretty lax here in QLD to a point. As long as you don`t have a blower hanging through the bonnet most other mods are fine.Left hand drive vehicles are very common in my home town.
