Thanks Everybody! Sorry for the tardy reply. I was at Barrett-Jackson all weekend and had a blast. I'd share pics like Marty's great ones if I used a digital but I just can't give up flipping through photos!
Here's the two trucks I did for Truckin or you can just click on Scott's Artwork link above. The red Silverado SS is what i think the next gen version should be complete with an abbreviated extended cab on a single cab wheelbase so the bed is shortened and scooped out in front. For the motor, I was thinking a 4.8 or a 5.3 liter LSX truck motor fitted with a couple turbos to make it fly but also help it sip gas if you can keep your foot out of it and keep you from paying a gas guzzler tax. Plus, with the turbos, it would qualify as a GMC Syclone candidate to bring that one back and help share production costs. TRapin, You reading this? Can you pass it along to the brass for us?

I forced a little of our influence on the Truckin crowd with the 87 El Camino that was inspired by the truck crowd who go grafting noses from all kinds of trucks and SUVs onto their trucks and make it look like they came that way. Not just the same old Escalade nose on a Silverado, some major metal surgery. So I proposed that they try to fab up some 70 El Camino shaped sheetmetal and hang it on the swoopier 78-87 bodystyle. Underneath would be the full G-machine treatment with all the bolt ons available for g-bodies, a set of 19" Budnik Grids and an LS2 backed by a 6 speed.
If you read this far, thanks!
