Default 66 Chevelle-How To Lower Rear End

Anyone know how to lower the back of a 66 Chevelle without using coilovers or air ride? I have Hotchkis lowering springs in the rear and would like to drop it another inch or so.

On my '66 the springs were flat on the top. So I don't see why you couldn't cut them.

You guys are right. Checked mine today and they are flat on top. I thought that they were like a bee hive on top and bottom. Thanks!
