Hello, long time troller on this site when looking for specific info. Figured I should join!

Currently building a 72 chevelle resto-mod capable of daily driving duties. Details -

6.2 L92 motor Build - Yours Truly
-Torn down and freshened up by yours truly
-New factory ACL style bearings (because i was in there..)
-Re-honed, fresh ring package on OG pistons.
-VVT removed, converted to LS3 front cover
-230/234 XFI / XE-R Comp grind, .612 .598 114LSA +2
-JWIS C5-R timing chain (katech)
-LS2 style nylon chain damper
-Arp cam bolts
-Arp Head bolts
-Factory rod / main bolts with original rod/piston package
-Stock heads decked .030, running .040 thick head gasket.
-Valves re-lapped during cleaning and re-assembly
-Comp trunion upgraded stock rockers
-PRC dual .650 springs
-Static compression 11.3:1 (2.7cc worth of valve reliefs on L92 pistons)
-8:3-1 DCR with cam installed on 112.5 ICL
-Stock pistons flycut .080 on intake, with .070" radial valve clearance
-Stock L92 oil pump retained (cold pressure is a little high, but holds 80psi @ 6500rpm when oil temp is 200)
-Stock LS3 intake, stock injectors, stock 2009 gold blade throttle body
-100mm MAF, LS3 blade-style MAF sensor
-Saxon PC custom installed MAF screen
-Underdrive SFI damper
-

Transmisson - 2006 GTO MN-12 (T-56)

Flywheel - Fidenza LS2 / LS7 aluminum

Clutch - GM factory LS7 disk and pressure plate

Shifter - TBD

ECM / Harness - 2009 corvette E38, Harness by Robert at FIC

Fans - Ford Windstar dual electric, with corvette PWM module

Radiator - Stock chevelle rock auto replacement, with plastic tanks and single aluminum core.

CAI - TBD. Looking to do over the radiator style, with radiator tilted back Ala 4th gen Fbody / C5-C6 vette. Will need remote coolant fill / resivour to do this

Suspension - TBD

Rearend - GM 12 bolt, factory 3.31 with new Posi

Brakes - TBD

Interior - Mostly stock resto, with late model buckets and upgraded gauges.

Exterior - Mostly stock resto, cyber grey metallic with stock SS style cowl hood.

Wheels - Most likely Boss 338 18x8 and 18x10, grey centers.


Thats if for now. 2 kids under age of 3 so time is scarce! Drivetrain is 100% done and waiting for install. Paint is coming up next. Suspension and interior are not started!
