Default 19x9 and 19x12 offsets for 70 camaro

Hey guys I have a 70 camaro, I'm very close to ordering a set of new wheels. Thinking of the forgeline cf3c or similar. Car is under going a ridetech 4 link and dse mini tubs so I can get some 12" wheels with 335 tires back there.

Dilemma ... Looked at a few pictures and 18s looked ok. Now that I saw one in person with 18s they look a little on the smaller side as far as filling the wheel arch goes... My thoughts are 19x12 6.5-7" bs rear and 19x9 5" bs front.

What do you guys think? Anybody have any pictures? The recent super camaros Orange beast features 19s and looks perfect!

What would be the most aggressive backspacing I could run? I don't mind trimming the fender/rxolling.

Finding a 335/30/19 is a PITA! Would I be able to squeeze the 345/30/19? People are running 335/30/20 which is only 0.3" wider.

All Michelin Pilot Super Sports Tires

Tire Section width Tire Width
325/30/19 13" 12.1"
345/30/19 13.8" 13"
335/30/20 13.5" 13"

I think Schwartz Performance squeezed a 345 on the back of a bird in one of their YouTube videos. I think they mention that the Firebird has more room though.

Going with a 325-335 is going to be the best bet I think.

Now back spacing 7" good or what for the 12" Wide?

Here's a few pics of mine. I have 19x12 rear and 18x10.5 fronts with 325/30/19 and 275/35/18. I'm happy with the fitment. I have RE'11's on the car and they are pretty good. They get slippery faster than some other tires but overall I'm happy with the price and performance. There are also some other tire brands in this fitment since it's the old ZO6 fitment

Default 19" Wheels

I just ordered up 18" forgelines for my bird
It now has 17" wheels and tires are the issue for me
18" has more selection for competition type tires

My 2 cents is the 19's on a second gen seem a little big
if the wheel centers are light colored... silver, polished etc

Gerno's car with the darker center and the stance look correct
I just remember a 70 Camero parked by me at Optima with 19's
in the rear and kept thinking they were too big.. but silver centers
