Default Oil pan question

I have a jakes subframe an just figured out my gmpp motor came with a corvette pan ... Anyone have any luck with the new camaro pan?

not sure on the fitment of the Camaro oil pan
Which pan are you referring to? the earlier 98-02' F-body oil pan
or the new fifth gen Camaro oil pan

If the issue is at the "front" of the sump, the earlier Camaro pan is approx 2" shorter

I may be interested in the vette pan for a future build also

Not sure jake said camaro pan works but not sure if that means gen 4 or 5...

You are first dibs on pan if you wan it.

my guess is he was referring to the standard "f-body" oil pan (98-02')
since you can see in the pic that it is only 11 1/2 long in the sump, rather than the 13 1/2" on the Vette pan

The 5th gen Camaro pans are deeper and are as long as the Vette pans

I use the Vette pans on sand rail LS swaps
here is my Desert Dynamics car
( the muddy one, is after it's maiden voyage with the new engine I built and bigger transaxle, so much for a "Dry Lake Bed")

Each oil pan has its own windage tray. They are not compitable....
