I'm new to the autox thing and will be going to LS fest but I don't have a sa2005 helmet I have a motorcycle helmet but they are just DOT approved. Is it required to have a helmet there and if so where can I get one by this weekend? Please help!

Letting everyone know where you are located would help, then maybe you could find a race parts store on the way to Bowling Green. It's a little late for internet ordering assuming you are leaving tomorrow.

Rules state SA2005 helmet required.

I'd say you should get one if you really want to autocross it.

"Helmet use is required (SA2005) for both drivers and passengers. The autocross course design will attempt to keep speeds below 45 M.P.H. Drivers and passengers must provide their own helmets and motorcycle helmets will not be allowed."
