Attached are some pics of my 68 Camaro. J U S T got it back. Added a 700R4, complete Global West suspension (UCSs, LCSs, rear leafs, QA1 ww/ coilovers, etc), and a set of 17" wheels & tires. AND life is good! Everyone's feedback is welcome. Thanx to everyone for the inspiration.

Looks great! That first picture with the low light and wet pavement looks really cool.

How does it drive, ride and handle with the updates?

Default More info

It's like a totally different car! I bought it last October and drove it relatively little before the snow. IT had 4.11s and was not easy on the highway. NOW I have 3.73s in the rear with the 700R4. Best of both worlds - first gear is deeper and I can "cruise" down the highway. With first gear, I can light 'em up and get sidways. COOL!

The suspension is tremedously improved. With the stock ~40 year old suspension it was like driving a boat. The ride now is firm and not as hard as I feared. It STILL doesn't compare to my 911 cab (maybe I had too high of expectations). Unisteer R&P is here in goes in next - we'll see.

The recommendations from everyone for the size wheels and tires were PERFECT! I think they look super with the dropped suspension. I just read about someone looking to drop a BAG of money ($2-3K??) on wheels and what you see is < $200 per wheel. At first I was nervous "something" would go wrong, - quality, size, delivery, etc. Quite frankly I'm now puzzled whey there's been so little discussion regarding this company's wheels. LOTS of styles, great price, custom sizes, 2 week delivery, . . . what's not to love!!

Any more questions, please ask. I'm indebted to EVERYONE for the information I scavenged here putting my protour together. Thanx!
