Default Wilwood brakes advice

Got my 69 up and running....I have 4 wheel disc brakes, Wilwood 6 piston in front and 4 piston in the rear. My question / concern is this, Wilwood says the pads need to be bedded. Is it normal for the brakes to sound like you ran over a Bobcat? The car has not been on the road yet, but moving it around the shop has me bit worried.....the brakes makes a terrible screeching/howl when applied. Is this normal until the pads have been bedded? Need advice. Thanks
