Yea my girlfriend was working 13 when that happened. Talking to his instructor, "he did everything right, just an unfortunate event." He definitely lost it but wasn't doing anything "crazy" or trying to "hero" it back on track. Car is almost definitely toast.
I was working corner 8 (top of the hill) and spoke with you briefly in grid around lunch. It was very nice finally meeting you and putting a face to a name on the board finally. I hope to get to see more of your collection in the future (primarily the pro-touring muscle cars

)

P.S. Were you there when the yellow C5 with the Katech LS7 blew the motor in turn 4, igniting the oil on the exhaust and setting it on fire? Car will probably be ok with some panels needing to be replaced due to the fire but overall pretty good job by the EV's to put it out. Motor however is toast (I had a connecting rod for a while but returned it to the owner, and a friend still has one, I'll post pics). Also interesting to see a Porsche GT3 try and give the Wright brothers a run for their money with his amazing 50-60 foot off road adventure that would be the envy of Bo and Luke Duke. Glad your weekend went well with the exception of some spark issues with the turbo go-kart...er Miata...
