Dropped the engine in today. Found out that my re-located A/C compressor interferes with the sway bar. Didn't have the bar when I mocked up the accessories. I have way too much time in fabbing the brackets so I'm going to have to find another option for the sway bar.
sorry to hear the bad news..im sure your buiilding skills will bring a solution..
car looks really cool even in primer, with your motor ..keep posting the pics .....ya know we love seeing your ride come together ..
That is mean looking! Is the firewall going black or silver? How about using a splined sway bar or mounting it rearward? I think the Year 1 Camaro has it in backwards due to the R&P. Don't know if it works or not that way.

I'm hoping for a similar solution Mike, thanks! The firewall is going to be silver as well as the bottom of the car. The inner fenders are eggshell black.
Definately get a splined swaybar, scoot it forward or back a bit to clear the A/C, then buy the appropriate ends for it. Added bonus: it'll look really cool and be easily tunable.
I need to come up there soon and check things out again...
