Default Video of Kurt Urban's turbo Silverado SS

If you know of Wheel 2 Wheel in Detroit, then you know who Kurt Urban is. He goes by the screen name '427' here on Lateral-g. Great guy, had the priviledge of getting to know him while on the Power Tour.

Here's a video of a pass he made at IRP while on the Tour with his turbo'd Silverado SS. 115mph is damn impressive, but so was his 4 wheel burn out he did for Jody, Charley, Mark and I and one of the places we stopped at last week.

Kurt's pass at IRP

Gotta love the narration. lol

Ha ! I love listening to the narrator get excited. And to think it will probably run 11's in the rain also.

I like that setup but I am sure it would fail the visual inspection of the CA smog test

Charley, I think 12'O in the rain is probably it, won't leave on more than 5psi on wet pavement.

For California smog you tell them the hood release cable is broke.

Sleeper yes, but oh when it wakes up!

Unless the tech is your buddy, it won't work. I tried!! Our emissions program is a carbon copy of California's, except for the fact that they probe the tailpipe for any gas powered car or light truck back to 1968.

New cars don't get smog checked for at least 4 years here in Ca. But if you buy it out of state and bring it in it has to get smogged.

New cars are now 6 years. But from out of state even if brand new it will be smogged.
