Default Hi ! a few Mopar projects from a new guy...

Below are a few pics of a freind's car I'm working on. The pics are black and white so that the custom paint scheme and graphics are not reveled until the car is finished. Pictured is a 5.7L Hemi and auto overdrive transmission but we've already swapped that out for a 6.1L, it's got an Alterkation with Air Ride in the front and out back will be an Air Ride Air Bar rear suspension with an 8 3/4" and 3.73 gears. The brakes are 13" Baer discs front and rear with a hydroboost system. The car will have AC and power steering. There's a lot of finishing details such as the interior and the wheels that have not been determined yet. Enjoy!

The engine in place on the Alterkation

The gutted interior. Yes, those are the original rust free floor pans! Only a portion of the trunk floor was changed.

The custom trans cross member, which still needs some work.

Here you can see the K-frame and the contour fit subframe connectors installed.

The drivers side of the transmission.

The car is sitting on the ground now with most of the suspension mocked up. I need to take some new pics to show the very sloooooooooooow progress being made.

I've also got a dakota project going. The only thing i'm sure of at this point is that it is getting a set of M/T SR radials 29" x18" x18" on the rear 'cause I already bought them. I don't know what engine it will have- either a late model Hemi or maybe an EFI'd big block. I've already got the big block in another dakota that runs & drives.

It's not quite a g-machine, but it fun to drive and it's sneaky.

Here's the dakota that will get the M/T's
