Default Wife's mother's day present

"Loki" - 4mo old male German Short Haired pointer, liver and white:

He is ball of energy only way to get a pic of him was to put him in the crate. He is a troublemaker so hence the name.

Wife fell in love with him going into a pet shop after mother's day breakfast. He will make a good companion to our 2-1/2 year old GSP "Bruno" as well:

Super high energy dog. Good buddy of mine had a pair when I lived back home and we used to bird hunt with them. They weren't trained very well and would run out of eye sight and flush the birds before we could get close. I always hoped he would leave them home and we could use my Lab.

You better be ready for lot's of walks!

Thanks all .

Yeah we are pretty much used to long walks with Bruno. There is a wilderness park/preserve not too far, usually take them there for at least an hour in the morning. In fact took little Loki there this morning with Bruno. The older dog Bruno tends to go into hunt mode over all the little critters there.

GSPs are pretty high energy that is for sure. They have to have a long walk every day or they go batty. The older dog often I end running him on my bike for about 20min then take him for a walk, otherwise he is handful.
